Girl dies

ATTUR: A girl student who failed in the SSLC examinations allegedly immolated herself in her house here on Saturday.

Police said Gouthami poured kerosene on her and set herself afire. Neighbours rescued her and rushed the

girl to Attur Government Hospital.

She was referred to Salem Government Medical College Hospital for further treatment.

But she succumbed at the hospital.

A case was registered.
