PUDUCHERRY: Indian Bank on Saturday organised a meeting for senior citizens to explain the benefits and schemes available for them. The Deputy General Manager of Indian Bank, Circle Office, Puducherry, K. Rajan, appealed to the senior citizens to provide suggestions to improve the services of the bank. The Chief Manager of Indian Bank, Circle Office, Puducherry, S. Sankar, explained about the reverse mortgage scheme formulated for the senior citizens. The Marketing Manager, Mohandas, explained about deposit schemes and remittance products such as Real time Gross Settlement and National Electronic Funds Transfer. Others who spoke included S. V Iyer, president of Senior Citizens’ Welfare Association, and N. Udayabhaskaran, vice-president of the association.
