‘Governor’s attitude objectionable’

Staff Correspondent

BELLARY: G. Janardhan Reddy, Minister in the newly-formed government, has taken exception to the Governor’s insistence that the Bharatiya Janata Party prove majority on the Floor of the Legislature before addressing its joint session.

In an informal chat with presspersons here on Sunday, Mr. Reddy said the BJP had a comfortable majority. Under these circumstances, it was not fair on part of the Governor to insist on the party proving majority before accepting any invite from them.
