Jeev in third spot

Newport (Wales): Jeev Milkha Singh continued to hold steady at the Celtic Manor Wales Golf Open, carding a two-under 69 in the penultimate round for a share of the third spot.

Jeev is just four-strokes behind leader Australian Scott Strange, who also turned in a 69 to total 15-under 198 after three rounds. Frenchman Raphael Jacquelin and Swede Robert Karlsson shared the third spot with Jeev after returning 68s.

Alvaro Velasco of Spain held the second spot. — PTI
