New attraction: Actor Suhasini will anchor Maa TV’s ‘Bommarillu’.

Unmatched versatility and emoting skills saw Suhasini coming out with some sterling performances on the big screen. Some portrayals of her have been memorable and helped carve a niche that not many could even aspire of matching. Now, the all-smiles actress is part of entertainment in Telugu living rooms.

Suhasini is hosting ‘Bommarillu’, a show that has on offer household appliances to a dream home itself, on Maa TV.

She was in the city to announce the launch of the show and turned up as graceful as ever. And, as candid as she always has been. “I am not as tall as Amitabh Bachchan, but ‘Bommarillu’ is as big as Kaun Banega Crorepati,” she says.

Despite number of channels, Television is still evolving and is in the process of acquiring professionalism.

“I am not at all interested in doing shows where I had to give away gold coins to the winners,” says the actress with 225 films in her kitty.

Improvement

“Home is every one’s dream. And when the concept was explained to me, I agreed to host it,” she smiles.

In the course of hosting the show, Suhasini says she has improved her Telugu and General Knowledge considerably. “And with the show, I also made some money too, though some of it goes for Income Tax”.

About the show, she doesn’t stop talking.

Not only the Telugu channels but the entire South has not seen such a show before, she says.

The show directed by Hemant Apte received more than a lakh participation enquiries and Maa CEO Sharrat Marar too is thrilled with it. “Suhasini is the greatest asset for the show,” he concedes.
