What they say
E. Balagurusamy
E. Balagurusamy, former Vice-Chancellor, Anna University :
Interest and aptitude should be the two main criteria while students choose a course. There is a great demand for good candidates from both the engineering, and arts and science background. Today those pursuing mechanical and civil engineering have excellent career chances. Students also need to find out if an institution has good infrastructure and provides a good academic and social environment, as much of a candidate’s personality development happens outside the classroom. A good course in a bad college is of no use.
