Man crushed to death by Blueline

New Delhi: A 50-year-old man was crushed to death by a Blueline in Nangloi locality in Outer Delhi, police said on Sunday. The incident took place on Saturday evening when deceased Mahavir fell down from the bus after the driver started driving before he could get completely get down, they said.

Mahavir, a resident of Rajender Park Extension, lost his balance and fell down and came under the rear wheel of the bus, police said.

He was immediately taken to the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday morning, they said.

The bus was plying on route number 254 (Bawarpur to Nangloi). The driver of the bus Subhash Chandra was absconding and police are trying to nab him, they added. In a separate incident, one Beni Prasadwas killed after his motorcycle was hit by a speeding truck late on Saturday night.
