Lineman found murdered

NEW DELHI: A 55-year-old lineman with the BSES was found murdered under mysterious circumstances in his house at New Ashok Nagar here on Sunday.

The body of Ram Sumer with injuries on his head and back was found by his brother around 5 p.m. His family told the police that he had recently gone to Uttar Pradesh to attend the marriage of a relative. They claimed that they did not know when exactly he returned to Delhi.

The police, who suspect that Ram Sumar was shot dead, have registered a case and are trying to identify the culprit.
