‘We will do better’

HYDERABAD: The Telugu Desam Party on Sunday proclaimed that the people’s faith in the party was reinforced in the byelections.

The results had proved again that people would support only those parties which stood by them, said TD Parliamentary Party Leader K. Yerran Naidu, at a press conference. On the party’s inability to wrest some constituencies, Mr. Yerran Naidu said, “We have done exceedingly well in the semi-finals and are confident of faring better in the finals next year”.
