Harish Rao wins with huge margin

SANGAREDDY: TRS candidate T. Harish Rao who won the Siddipet Assembly with a thumping majority of 58,935 votes over his nearest rival Bhyri Anjaiah of Congress created a record by breaking not only his previous record but also that of his uncle K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s record of 44,476 votes. Both the Congress and TDP candidates lost their deposits. During the 2004 by elections Harish recorded a majority of 24,829 votes over his rival Cheruku Mutyam Reddy of TDP who got 39,547 votes. In 2004 general elections K. Chandrasekhar Rao defeated his rival Zilla Srinivas of TDP.
