Flight delayed

A Correspondent

NEDUMBASSERY: The passengers of a Bahrain-bound Indian Airlines flight were stranded at the Cochin International Airport for more than five-and-a-half hours on Monday after its captain refused to fly, citing a delay in receiving his baggage.

The flight (IC 909) reached here from Bangalore at 12.45 p.m. and was originally scheduled to depart from here to Bahrain via Calicut and Doha at 1.40 p.m., after a “crew change”.
