CPI to stage protest

PUDUCHERRY: The Communist Party of India will observe June 6 as “Black Day” to protest the rise in prices of essential commodities. Secretary of the Puducherry unit of the CPI N. Kalainathan told reporters that the party would organise demonstrations and public meetings at several places here on June 6 to protest the Centre’s lacklustre approach to the issue of price rise. — Staff Reporter
