Nagercoil: Thousands of people witnessed the Vaikasi car festival at Vaikundar temple at Swamithoppu near Kanyakumari on Monday. Collector B. Jothi Nirmala inaugurated the decorated entrance at Vaikundaswamy Thalamaipathi at Swamithoppu, which was constructed at Rs.20 lakh. Special pujas were performed at the temple for the release of the Ayyavazhi film, which is supposed to be released on June 20, directed by P.C. Anbzhazagan. — Staff Reporter
