Charred to death

METTUR: A woman was charred to death in a fire accident in her house in Kollappanaickanur

village near here on Sunday.

Police said Malar (27) was cooking in her home, when her sari caught fire. Neighbours rescued the woman and admitted her to Salem Government Medical College Hospital, where she succumbed.

A case was registered.
