Not many students are going for research and development areas where there is a lot of scope to make use of the acquired knowledge and explore different areas. The growth prospects are also good. There is also a plenty of scope in the manufacturing industry. Fields like chemical, electrical and instrumentation engineering are also witnessing a boom. But for a committed student, there are opportunities galore in every field.
