This Day That Age
Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, while addressing a public meeting in Karachi on June 1 said that he had offered advice twice to the Government of Pakistan in regard to settlement of the Kashmir issue. Mr. Ghaffar Khan said that patriots in this country were being branded as traitors. It was a sad feature that 70 lakhs tribesmen of the frontier were not given the right of vote. Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan said that long before the tribal invasion of Kashmir, he had sounded the Government of Pakistan that he was prepared to approach Sheikh Abdullah in order to persuade the latter to accede to Pakistan.
