Jeev finishes 10th

Newport: A late slump put paid to Jeev Milkha Singh’s hopes of a top-five finish and he turned in an even-par 71 in the final round to sign off tied 10th in the £1.8 million Celtic Manor Wales Open golf here.

Jeev finished with a 273, 11 strokes behind winner Australian Scott Strange, who sizzled with a flawless 64 to secure his maiden European Tour title. — PTI
