Central to meet South

BANGALORE: Central Zone, which beat West Zone 5-1 on Monday, will play South Zone in the final of the SAI inter-regional girls’ hockey tournament on Friday.

North Zone beat North Eastern Zone 2-0 while East Zone inflicted another crushing defeat on West, with a 7-1 win.

Other results: East Zone 7 (Shashi Pradhan 3, Anitha Baraik, Omega Dung Dung, Shikha Tete, Deepa Karketta) bt West Zone 1 (Devbala).

Central Zone 5 (Kavitha, Kamala Rawat, Prathima Ekka, Sridevi Verma, Vaishalee) bt West Zone 1 (Mary).
