Iqbal hits hundred

Bangalore: Iqbal Abdullah’s 100 (102b, 12x4, 2x6) helped defending champion West score 269 in 82.5 overs against South in a Col. Hemu Adhikari Trophy inter-zonal under-19 tournament match that commenced at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Monday. At close, South scored four for one in five overs.

The scores:

West 269 in 82.5 overs (Iqbal Abdulla 100, Priyanka Panchal 69, G.V.S. Prasad six for 71) vs South four for one in five overs.

North 200 for nine in 63 overs (Sharad Loomba 44, Rishi Dhavan 50, Krishna Das four for 45) vs East.
