Statement recorded

A Special Court on Monday recorded the statement of Abdul Karim Telgi, the prime accused in the multi-crore stamp paper scam in the case registered in the City Market police station here.

For the vast majority of questions asked by Special Court Judge S.S. Murgod, the response of Telgi, who was responding through video conferencing from the Central Prison here, was “I don’t know”. The hearing in the case has now been posted for June 23.
