Two-day session from tomorrow

BANGALORE: A two-day special session of the 13th Legislative Assembly will be held on Wednesday and Thursday.

Official sources said here on Monday that Virajpet MLA K.G. Bopaiah would be the pro tem Speaker and would administer the oath to the newly elected MLAs. Governor Rameshwar Thakur will administer the oath of office to Mr. Bopaiah at the Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. The Speaker will be elected on Thursday. The Government headed by Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa has called the session to prove its majority on the floor of the House.
