Good spell by Santhosh

CHENNAI: Santhosh Kumar’s five for 14 enabled Asiatic CA beat Jaffer CA (Erode) by 59 runs in the Vignesh Trophy State-Level inter-academy under 17 cricket tournament at Dindigul recently.

The scores (final):

Asiatic CA 168 for four in 25 overs (Srinath 36, Chandrasekar 30, Jaya Bharat Veeran 70 not out) bt Jaffer CA (Erode) 109 in 21.2 overs (Santosh Kumar five for 14).

Special Prizes: Best batsman: Srinath (Asiatic C.A); best bowler: Sandeep (Asiatic C.A); consistent performance: Jaya Bharat Veeran (Asiatic C.A); Player of the Final: Santosh Kumar (Asiatic C.A).
