Minister inspects road works

PUDUCHERRY: Education Minister M.O.H.F. Shahjahan who represents Lawspet constituency inspected the road laying works in his constituency on Tuesday.

According to a press release, works for laying underground sewage pipelines had been completed at Nehru Street, Indira Gandhi Street, Rajiv Gandhi Street and the roads had been laid.

As part of this, funds to the tune of Rs.9.77 lakh was allotted from the MLA Local Area Development Fund for road laying works at Gurusiddhananda Street and Gandhi Street.

The Minister, along with local body representatives, inspected the works, the release said.
