Farmers continue agitation

DAVANGERE: Farmers continued their ongoing agitationhere against shortage of fertilizers and seeds, though Deputy Commissioner of Davangere district M.B. Dyaberi had assured them adequate supply in another three to four days.

Farmers continued their dharna in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Tuesday.

The farmers said that they would wait for a few more days, and if the district administration failed to provide them sufficient fertilizers and seeds, they would once again resort to ‘rasta roko’.
