Begusarai: Five children aged between nine and 17 years drowned while taking bath in the Gandak river in Bihar’s Begusarai district on Tuesday, police said. The dead were identified as Bark Kumar (15), Guddu Kumar (12), Nita (12), Kanhaiya (09) and Pushpa (17). All the bodies were fished out of the river by the villagers of Noorullahpur, officer in charge of Khudawandpur police station R.P. Verma said.
