16 lakh stolen from temple

New Delhi: Cash and jewellery worth Rs.16 lakhs were stolen from the Capital’s Yogmaya Temple in Mehrauli area of south Delhi, police said.

“The incident came to light on Monday morning when the temple priest found the back door of the temple broken and cash and jewellery worth Rs.16 lakhs missing,” they said adding

“We have taken fingerprints from the idols and are questioning the temple priests”.
