Indian rowing team

Chennai: As part of the preparations to the forthcoming Olympic Games in Beijing, an Indian rowing team will take part in the third World Cup at Poznan (Poland) from June 20 to 22.

The team consists of Bajrang Lal Takhar for the singles sculls (men) with Devendra Kumar Khandwal and Manjeet Singh for the men’s light weight sculls (LM2X).

The team leaves from Hyderabad on June 15, according to S.V. Sriram, Secretary General, Rowing Federation of India.
