TAMBARAM: Reach out to students in a humane manner and address the grievances of parents: these were some of the important pieces of advice that teachers of Kendriya Vidyala schools received on Monday.
A 12-day Inservice Course for Trained Graduate Teachers in Social Science for a batch of 34 teachers of KV Schools from Chennai, Bangalore, Guwahati and Silchar regions concluded at KV on the Director General of Quality Assurance premises, Meenambakkam on Monday. Speaking at the valedictory function, E. Prabhakar, Assistant Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Chennai Region, reminded teachers of the importance of reaching out to students.
And when parents contacted them to know why their children were not performing as well, teachers should address their grievances completely, Mr.Prabhakar said.
