A late correction! A query in “Question Corner” (Science &Technology/Agriculture” page, May 8, 2008) was “Mild electric shock — Why is it that when I get down from a car after travelling for some time, I feel a mild electric shock if I touch any metal part of the car?” A sentence in the first paragraph of the answer was “... Our human body is normally charged to a high voltage level at all times.” The Science and Technology Desk clarifies that the sentence is factually incorrect.
