Talwar put to lie-detector test
Staff Reporter
NEW DELHI: Rajesh Talwar, arrested by the Noida police for his alleged involvement in the murder of his 14-year-old daughter Aarushi and the family’s domestic help Hemraj, was on Wednesday put to a lie-detector test by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The agency has formed 10 teams to follow different aspects of the case.
The test was conducted with Dr. Talwar’s consent. During the test, he was questioned about his relationship with Aarushi and his wife, Nupur.
He was also questioned about the dress he was wearing the night before his daughter’s body was discovered.
The agency might subject him to another round of test as the first test proved inconclusive regarding Dr. Talwar’s role in the murders.
