Facilitating easier signals anywhere
Staff Reporter
CHENNAI: Arun Raaza, a 23-year-old student from Tamil Nadu, has attempted an application — ‘45 degree beam steer-able antenna’ to facilitate easier use of mobile phones in all regions.
He has also applied to have it patented.
An alumnus of Dr. M.G.R. University here, Mr.Raaza is now pursuing Master of Research in Photonics and Communication at the Institute of Advanced Telecommunication (IAT), Swansea University, Wales, United Kingdom.
The application aims to help obtain signal even in regions such as deserts and forests that are away from urban centres, he said at a press conference organised by the Association of Accredited Advisors on Overseas Education here on Wednesday.
