Kannur University BA LLB Course: The last date for submitting application for admission to the course conducted by the Department of Law on the Thalassery campus of the university has been extended to June 20. Applicants should have no less than 50 per cent marks in Plus Two examination. A concession of five marks will be sanctioned to applicants belonging to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe communities. The age of the applicants should not exceed 25 as on June 1. The cost of the application forms should be remitted through chalan, a press release said. PG Course Admission: The university has finalised the schedule for admission to post graduate courses in affiliated colleges. Application forms for admission to MA, M.Sc., M.Com, MCJ and MSW courses are available from colleges having these courses from June 5. The last date for accepting the application forms is June 30. Bachelor of Physiotherapy: Applications have been invited for admission to the course being conducted by the Thalassery College of Physiotherapy. Eligibility for admission is 50 per cent marks in higher secondary examination or other equivalent examinations. Selection would be on the basis of marks in physics, chemistry and biology. There are 50 seats for the four-and-a-half year course. Application forms and other details will be available from the Principal, College of Physiotherapy, Nettur, Thalassery. A chalan receipt for Rs.100 remitted in the university fund should be attached with the request for the application form. The applicants residing outside the State can attach a Demand Draft for Rs.100 drawn in the name of the university Finance Officer and payable at the State Bank of Travancore (SBT), Kannur University Campus. Those who wanted the forms by post should also enclose a self-addressed envelope with stamp of Rs. 10 affixed on it. The applications should reach the Principal on or before June 30. M.Sc. Clinical and Counselling Psychology: The university’s School of Behavioural Sciences is offering the course under the semester pattern. The university has extended the last date for submitting applications to June 10. Holders of degree in psychology or other subjects with no less than 50 per cent marks in main subjects can apply. Application forms and prospectus would be available from the Course Director, School of Behavioural Sciences, Kannur University, Raz Complex, Kakkad Road, Kannur - 2. A Rs.100 chalan receipt or pay-in-slip of the SBT or a DD drawn in the name of the Finance officer of the university payable at SBT, Kannur University should be attached with the request for application forms. Self-addressed envelope with affixed stamp for Rs. 10 should be enclosed by those who wanted application forms by post. Degree Provisional Certificates: Students who have passed the university’s B.Sc. examinations held in March last can apply for provisional certificates. They should attach chalan receipt for Rs.50, photo copy of the mark list and the original hall ticket.
