Bear attack

HAVERI: Five persons, including a woman, were injured following an attack by a bear which strayed into three villages (Sagaravalli, Sringeri and Savikeri) in Hangal taluk of Haveri district on Wednesday. According to sources, all the injured were alone in their farmlands when the bear attacked them. The injured have been treated and are out of danger now. — Staff Correspondent
