Disaster education programme

Chennai: Japanese scientists from Kyoto University will visit the University of Madras to conduct coastal watching and school safety training programme on June 17, June 25 and 26.

The programme is part of the disaster education programme taken up by the universities.

It aims at training faculty who teach science, geography and disaster management subjects.
