KHAMMAM: Chief Election Commissioner N. Gopala Swami, accompanied by his family members, had a darshan at the Bhadradri temple on Thursday evening. He also visited Parnashala, 30 km from Bhadrachalam, a place where Lord Rama believed to have lived with his consort Sita and his brother, Lakshmana. Heavy police bandobust was arranged in the area during his visit. The Chief Election Commissioner met the district officials in charge of the revision of the electoral rolls during his brief stopover at Khammam on his way to Bhadrachalam. Collector Shashibhushan Kumar and the superintendent of Police D. S. Chauhan received him.
