Katta’s induction tomorrow

BANGALORE: The first expansion of the B.S. Yeddyurappa Ministry will be on Saturday with the inclusion of Katta Subramanya Naidu into it. With this, the size of the Ministry will go up to 31.

Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa told presspersons here on Thursday that Mr. Subramanya Naidu would be inducted into the Ministry at 4.45 p.m.

Only three ministerial vacancies will remain after Mr. Naidu’s induction.

Mr. Yeddyurappa evaded a direct reply to a query on when the remaining vacancies would be filled.

Chief Whip

The Bharatiya Janata Party MLA from Sringeri constituency, Jeevaraj, has been appointed the Chief Whip of the ruling party in the Legislative Assembly.
