Legislature session from June 23

BANGALORE: A legislature session to discuss and adopt the motion of thanks to Governor Rameshwar Thakur’s address to a joint session of both the Houses of the State legislature will be held from June 23.

A decision to hold the session was taken at an informal meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of the Legislative Assembly in which Speaker Jagadish Shettar, Chief Minister B. S. Yeddyurappa and Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly M. Mallikarjun Kharge took part.

Disclosing this to presspersons after the meeting, Minister Suresh Kumar said the session would commence from June 23.
