Vigilance team collects evidence

KOCHI: A Vigilance team from Kochi unit led by Superintendent of Police V.N. Nandaraj and Dy. SP C.S. Majeed that is inquiring into a complaint lodged by rights activist Joemon Puthenpurackal at Thrissur Vigilance Court against Santhosh Madhavan collected evidence from the complainant on Thursday. The evidence collection began at around 10.30 a.m. at the PWD Rest House here and went on till evening. The Vigilance Court had ordered an inquiry on May 19 on complaints that Santhosh Madhavan had amassed wealth beyond his known sources of income. — Staff Reporter
