Solatium for 51 affected families

CHENNAI: The State government has sanctioned Rs.28.60 lakh from the Chief Minister’s General Relief Fund as solatium to 51 affected families.

According to an official release, representations of MLAs requesting for relief to victims or their families affected by natural calamities or accidents were sent to the respective District Collectors.

Based on their report, the government sanctioned the amount. — Special Correspondent
