CITU strike against fuel price hike

CHENNAI: The State unit of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) has called for a strike on June 7 in the State to condemn the “steep hike” in the prices of petroleum products.

Union general secretary A. Soundararajan, in a statement here on Thursday, said employees of all transport corporations, mill workers, unorganised workers, and taxi and auto-rickshaw drivers would participate. — Special Correspondent
