District Surgeon, nurses transferred

KOLAR: The State Government has reportedly transferred the District Surgeon and about 24 nurses of S.N.R. Hospital on Thursday. The action was initiated after allegations of bribery and cases of mis-management at the district hospital, it is learnt. Deputy Commissioner F.R. Jamadar confirmed to The Hindu that District Surgeon Sunandabai has been transferred to Bangalore and also some nurses, following various charges. — Staff Correspondent
