BHUBANESWAR: Continuing with its meet-the-artist series, Orissa Culture Academy would feature New Delhi-based noted painter and sculptor Jagannath Panda at Orissa Modern Art Gallery here on Monday evening. Academy chairperson Kedar Mishra told The Hindu that the objective of the series is to facilitate an interaction among the artists, connoisseurs, critics and scholars. In his 30’s, Mr. Panda has been youngest Oriya artist to claim international acclaim. A master in sculpture from the prestigious Baroda University, he was a visiting researcher at Fukuoka University of Japan and completed masters in sculpture from the Royal College of Arts in London. His works have been exhibited worldwide.
