Call for bandh

ADILABAD: The opposition parties have urged people and businessmen to make Friday’s bandh in protest against the hike in petroleum products prices a success. Leaders from the TDP, CPI (M), CPI and TRS issued the appeal at a press conference on Thursday. TDP’s district vice president Jogu Ramanna and CPI (M) district president Bandi Dattatri said the Union Government had burdened the common man by raising the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG. -Staff Reporter
