KVPS protests dumping of idols

Sangareddy: Kulavivaksha Vyatireka Porata Sangham Medak unit expressed shock over the alleged dumping of idols used in Dalita Govindam in a kitchen at Tirumala.

In a press release here on Thursday KVPS district general secretary M. Adivaiah pointed out that using an idol in Dalitwadas without following proper Aagama rituals like Pranapratishta is nothing but belittling the community. He dared the TTD to take Dalits into the temple rather than taking idols to their colonies. KVPS demanded the TTD to allow Dalit Govindam idols inside the temple or to face state-wide protests from Dalits.
