Three feted on World Environment Day

BERHAMPUR: Two teachers – Bikram Gouda and Bijay Chandra Moharana – and a social worker Sujay Majhi were honoured at a function organised to mark the World Environment Day on Thursday. They were felicitated by the RDC, southern division, Satyabrata Sahu. Saplings were planted on the RDC office premises by the organisation, Prerana.

Similarly, a seminar on plantation of fruit-bearing trees was organised to mark the day by the Botany Department of Berhampur University. The dignitaries attending the seminar planted trees on the campus.
