Man held; arms seized

HYDERABAD: City Police on Thursday arrested Abbu Ali Khan, who was facing 11 criminal cases.

The Commissioner’s Task Force seized two axes, a hunting sickle and 10 stolen mobile phones from him, according to a press release.

Khan of Hussaini Alam allegedly began pocket picking four years ago. In 2006, he and his associates allegedly murdered another pick-pocket Abid at Mir Chowk.

Bhaskar, 17, died and three other members of his family sustained serious injuries when the auto-rickshaw they were travelling was hit by a lorry at KK Towers in Ameerpet on Thursday.
