‘Anti-Malaria months’

NEW DELHI: Municipal Commissioner K.S. Mehra has appealed to government offices, educational institutions and commercial establishments to take suitable steps for prevention of mosquito breeding.

“June and July are being observed as ‘anti-malaria/anti-dengue months’ and several public meetings would be organised in all the wards to raise awareness on the issue,” he said, adding that under the DMC Act failure to take preventive measures against mosquito breeding is punishable.
