Shiv Sena’s demand
Thiruvananthapuram: The Shiv Sena has asked the government, CPI(M) and the DYFI to stop defaming ashrams and sanyasis by projecting anti-socials, ‘benamis’ of leaders of religious minority politics and heads of real estate mafias as sanyasins. State leader of the party M.S. Bhuvanachandran, in a statement here on Thursday, charged some sections with trying to collect money from the ashrams and sanyasins by exploiting the situation. Those who refused to pay were being attacked. The government and the police were doing nothing to discourage it.
