Woman dead

KASARAGOD: A woman who was found with her throat slit open at her home at Chalakkunnu, Vidyanagar, here on Friday morning died on the way to hospital.

The woman, identified as Alima, 40, was found bleeding on her bed by her mother.

The police have taken her husband, K.M. Sulaiman, into custody. Further investigation is on.
