Kanpur: With academic stress at the country’s premiere engineering institute driving a rising number of students to commit suicide in the past three years, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur will take help from its counterpart in Massachusetts, USA, to deal with the issue. “The institute is in a state of shock and has asked for help from Massachusettes Institute of Technology in the USA to deal with the matter,” K. V. Satyamoorty, Assistant Registrar of IIT, Kanpur said.
